In 1986 he graduated from the Kaliningrad Technical Institute full-time with a degree in Automated Control Systems.

After assignment, from August 1986 he worked in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - as a district inspector, investigator, forensic expert.

In 1994 he graduated by correspondence from the Kaliningrad Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation with a degree in law.

In 1994 he entered full-time studies and in 1997 graduated from the postgraduate course of the Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (Moscow, Maly Ivanovsky lane).   

In 1997, he also defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of legal sciences on the topic "The tactics of collecting and using computer information in the investigation of crimes" (supervisor Professor E.R. Rossinskaya)

Since 1997, he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Criminalistics at the Kaliningrad Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Since 2005 - Attorney at the Chamber of Lawyers of the Kaliningrad Region.
